In a decaying society, art,
if it is truthful, must also reflect decay. And unless it wants to
break faith with its social function, art must show the world as
changeable. And help to change it. (Ernst
Fischer)
I
make art so that it might show others the world as a malleable
substance that is completely reproducible. this decision can not be
a wish or a want, but must be a serious decision and ever yet a
devoted practice. If one could create something from the various
materials of nothing, why could one not do the same with his own
life?
My name
is Justin: Oriani and I have now been tattooing for 4 solid years on
top of being a proficient artist at a very early age. my interest in
tattooing was sparked by my fathers tattoos and watching him get
them, from then on I just knew it was what I wanted to do. At 16 I
began to draw tattoos and studying other artists work. after two
years of various apprenticeships I began tattooing at age 18
professionally in
Albany, NY. I moved on to Yonkers, and NYC where I tattooed
for about a year and a half. I then eventually made it out to
Tucson, AZ and began working for the ENCHANTED DRAGON full
time in march or 2010. You can find me inserting pigment into skin
most any day at the Broadway and Plumer location.
